Put produce recalls in your rear view mirror.
Well, if not in your rear view mirror, at least in the backseat; and it doesn’t take 40 acres and a mule to do it. One simple, inexpensive way to do this is the “shotgun” approach. Just scatter various plants around your house and yard. You can make them obvious or inconspicuous. Put a few among the other plants in your flower beds. Have a used milk jug lying around? Use it. An old bucket? Use it. Even an old tire can be used as a planter. Let your imagination be your guide. You’ll probably enjoy the ride. What other common household items do you think would make a nice addition to your “shotgun garden”?
